Gut Microbiota Interventions to Retain Residual Kidney Function

چکیده
Residual kidney function for patients with chronic disease (CKD) is associated better quality of life and outcome; thus, strategies should be implemented to preserve function. Among the multiple causes that promote damage, gut dysbiosis due increased uremic toxin production endotoxemia need attention. Several have been proposed modulate microbiota in these patients, diet has gained increasing attention recent years since it primary driver dysbiosis. In addition, medications faecal transplantation may valid strategies. Modifying composition mitigate damage residual Although various studies shown influential role modulating composition, effects this modulation on remain limited. This review discusses metabolism vice versa how we could by balance.

Gut Microbiota and Lifestyle Interventions in NAFLD.
The human digestive system harbors a diverse and complex community of microorganisms that work in a symbiotic fashion with the host, contributing to metabolism, immune response and intestinal architecture. However, disruption of a stable and diverse community, termed "dysbiosis", has been shown to have a profound impact upon health and disease. Emerging data demonstrate dysbiosis of the gut mic...
متن کاملGut Microbiota Signatures Predict Host and Microbiota Responses to Dietary Interventions in Obese Individuals
BACKGROUND Interactions between the diet and intestinal microbiota play a role in health and disease, including obesity and related metabolic complications. There is great interest to use dietary means to manipulate the microbiota to promote health. Currently, the impact of dietary change on the microbiota and the host metabolism is poorly predictable and highly individual. We propose that the ...
متن کاملGut microbiota, immune development and function.
The microbiota of Westerners is significantly reduced in comparison to rural individuals living a similar lifestyle to our Paleolithic forefathers but also to that of other free-living primates such as the chimpanzee. The great majority of ingredients in the industrially produced foods consumed in the West are absorbed in the upper part of small intestine and thus of limited benefit to the micr...
متن کاملChanges in the composition and function of the gut microbiota in celiac disease
Evidence is supported the hypothesis that any changes in the composition and function of the gut microbiota play a fundamental role in a number of chronic inflammatory diseases including celiac disease (CD). In the last decade, several culture-independent methods have been developed to identify the components of the human microbiome. The study of microbiota based on nucleic acid analysis found ...
